Family Readathon to Benefit Local Humane Society

As authors and people who love to read, we decided to create our own charity event that we ran from December 2015 to April 2016.
With just the three of us, we encouaraged family and friends to sponsor our event to raise money for the Talbot Humane Society where Jackson rescued his two cats, Angel and Cookie, a few years earlier. That's where he also met a disabled cat who was the inspiration for our newest book, The Adventures of SUITCASE.THE.CAT. (coming late January 2021).
The local rescue shelter is also where Jackson volutneers as a trained reader to the cats.
This was a great way to spend the winter with an valid excuse for reading more books, while raising funds for a great cause!
Click here to discover how you can create your own FAMILY READATHON like we did - and now are planning to start a new READATHON - to raise funds for your local nonprofit organization. What a way to spend this winter, while helping your community and enjoying a fun family project together! Join us, won't you?
